Michaela is a Manager at Frankel, specializing in providing audit and consulting services to privately held companies, not-for-profit organizations, and employee benefit plans. Michaela joined Frankel in 2015 after completing an internship with the firm.
Passionate about not-for-profit organizations and public service, Michaela currently serves as the Treasurer, the Finance/Audit Committee Chair, and an Executive Committee member for CASA for Douglas County, a local not-for-profit working to improve the lives of abused and neglected children. Additionally, Michaela serves as the Treasurer of her neighborhood’s Homeowner’s Association, on the Nebraska Society of CPAs Not-for-Profit and Women in Accounting committees, and is an active alumnus of Nebraska Wesleyan University (NWU), acting as an MBA program mentor and participating in business symposiums and various other campus events.
Michaela graduated from NWU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with minors in Finance and Human Resources Management. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Nebraska Society of CPAs (NESCPA).
